Platsil Deadener LV : 5 gallon Pail

PlatSil Deadener LV is a low-viscosity additive for PlatSil silicone gels used in prosthetic appliance and special effects applications. It softens cured silicone, reduces its synthetic “snap,” and helps create the slow stretch and recovery associated with skin and soft tissue.

• Lower viscosity than Smith’s Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener
• Add to Part A before mixing with Part B
• Compatible with PlatSil gels used for prosthetics and special effects
• Allows custom softness and tack through controlled addition levels

Polytek permits additions up to 300% of the total mixed weight of Parts A and B; PlatSil Gel-25 typically requires no more than 100%. Always perform a small test cure to determine the correct ratio for the intended application.
