Sculptex Clay

Sculptex Clay is a sulfur-free, non-hardening modeling clay for precision sculpting, prototyping, model making, and mold work. Because it contains no sulfur, it is a useful alternative to sulfur-based clays that can interfere with some mold-making silicones.

This listing is available in Soft and Medium firmness, with selectable 1 lb and 40 lb case sizes.

Handling

Clay rake tools can be used to level and smooth the surface. Naphtha, clear mineral spirits, or 99% isopropyl alcohol may be used carefully for additional surface smoothing.

Compatibility note: Citrus-based solvents such as d-limonene may cause inhibition when molding the clay with silicone rubber. Test the complete material system before production use.

Wash hands with soap and water after use.
