Dr. Puppetstein Foam & Fabric Contact Adhesive

Dr. Puppetstein Foam & Fabric Contact Adhesive is a water-based, pressure-sensitive contact cement for bonding foam, fabric, natural latex, leather, wood and paper. Made by Motion Picture FX, it is used by puppet builders, costume and creature fabricators, mask makers and cosplayers who want a strong, flexible bond without solvent-based contact cement.

Three thicknesses

• Thin / Airbrushable: for spraying or fine, even coats on large foam panels.
• Thick / Brushable: the all-purpose version for chip brush or artist brush.
• Thickest / Monster Patch DNA Paste: a heavy paste for filling gaps, seams and holes.

Sizes run from 4 oz to a gallon.

How to bond

Coat both surfaces and let the adhesive dry. Bring them together with light pressure, which still lets you reposition or separate them. Once aligned, press firmly to set the bond.

Works with

Natural latex rubber; L200, L300 and L400 foams; upholstery, sheet, craft, cosplay (EVA), Styrofoam and poly foams; and fabric, felt and leather. Test unfamiliar materials before production use.
