Pro-Foam Self Skinning Foam is a two-part flexible polyurethane foam that forms a tough, smooth skin against the mold while the inside stays soft. It comes in a neutral color and is used for props, lightweight skulls and heads, faux rocks, planters and other castings that need a durable outer surface with a light, flexible core.
Choose 4 lb density for a lighter, softer casting or 6 lb for a firmer, heavier one. Each density comes as a quart, gallon or 5-gallon A-B kit.
Shake both parts well before use. Coat the mold with release, weigh out 40 parts A to 60 parts B by weight, mix, then pour into the mold and close it. The foam rises to fill the cavity and forms its skin where it meets the mold walls. Work in a ventilated area.
